Why we're here
Everyday life is the starting point.
For cannabis to become mainstream medicine, it has to grow up. TCann has built a tablet to take it there.
Smoking and vaping are harmful. Oils and capsules make it hard to control the dose.
The only way forward for medicinal cannabis is a format that is safe, reliable and accepted by regulators. So we built a highly bioavailable tablet that gives patients and their doctors a practical option.
Our tablet delivers a consistent dose every time and fits into a Webster pack alongside other medicines. It is also zero THC, so drivers, pilots, police and anyone else who is drug tested are not restricted from using it.
Our task now is to sell, and scale up manufacture for Australia and export. In parallel, we will push for registration and any further clinical trials that may be needed.
Our purpose
Keep the people who need better options at the centre of the work.
That is the ambition behind TCann, and the standard we bring to the next stage.
The research so far
We are leading the way.
We have a technologically advanced tablet available now, and we're developing more tablets with the same technology. In parallel, we're running clinical trials with the future in mind.
Pain is one of the hardest things in medicine to study. We took on a chronic pain trial because the people living with it are underserved and have very few options, and we believe we can help.
- Now
- A zero-THC CBD tablet, highly bioavailable, the same dose every time
- Next
- A tablet containing THC, made with the same technology
- Beyond
- More complex formulations, developed and brought to market
Made possible by people
The next chapter is taking shape in Sydney.
Our team brings together pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP quality and clinical research experience. At Thornleigh, that work happens in an 800 m² facility operated by TCann Pty Ltd, an extensively licensed manufacturer.
The next stage is to build on that base and scale up for global manufacture.
